• Nov 2009 National Yoga Challenge in support of Unicef- Irena led Secord Public School children in the "Compassion Yoga Flow" and was featured in The Mirror newspaper distributed in Toronto areas (East York, Riverdal, Leaside).
• 2001 - Bliss Yoga mention in the Toronto Star, by Toronto comedian and yoga student, Ted Bisaillion.
• 1994 - "Artist Feature" on the CityTV's CityLine "Home Day" television show. The feature highlighted Irena and her painted furniture and housewares.
